Justice and Rights for All
In Uganda, millions of people are being failed by justice systems. That means when their rights are violated, they have nowhere to turn for help. Millions of people live in extreme conditions of injustice, have an unresolved justice problem and are excluded from opportunities the law provides. Legal Room and it's partners believe in a future where all people are able to access equal protections and remedies under the law.

Justice: The Legal Room is an organization that values access to justice for all
Inclusion: The Legal Room values Inclusion of Marginalized Groups and Communities in Priority-Setting
Professionalism: Legal Room is a learning organization that will listen to Ugandans, be flexible, be responsive to the external and internal environment, and ensure that interventions effectively reach Ugandans in a timely and valuable way; resource allocation system that considers the vulnerable and promotes equity.
Integrity: Legal Room Team Members will conform with what they say and to ethical behaviour and generally accepted standards of effectiveness. Legal Room will responsibly utilize available resources, according to what it plans and claims to deliver and openly share the information with relevant key stakeholders
Commitment: Legal Room will invest time and resources in seeking to build a peaceful, just and Non-Violent Society with empowered people knowing and using the law to assert their rights.
Respect: In all its endeavors, Legal Room will value human life and dignity of all without discrimination.
Love and concern for others: This will be a guiding principle for implementation of Legal Room Programs.
Stewardship: Resources entrusted with Legal Room for serving the target population will be managed prudently to benefit all the people and avoid waste and duplication.
Impartiality: Legal Room will strive to work with all people in its focus areas without any form of discrimination based on creed, ethnicity, political affiliation, gender and sexual Orientation.
Empathy: Legal Room will try as much as possible empathize with the communities it serves as part of genuine support and solidarity.
Transparency: Legal Room will emphasize openness, communication, and accountability. Transparency will be used as a means of holding public officials accountable and fighting
corruption.
